collection 2 spring 2025 fashion meets utility

fashion meets utility is a project stemmed from the desire to push material limits, as well as the machine itself. working with a double bed knitting machine opens a world of opportunities such as ribbing, pockets, pleats, textural pattern, and tubes. with the hope to design a modular capelet-skirt (as seen in apparel), I engineered a drawstring panel to be placed on the interior of the cape allowing it to be adjusted to any length. it was important to choose tough, non-sticky wool while maintaining the material and sustainable continuity, but voila!
